ISCA was founded in 1996 by Prof. Dr. Alfred K. Louis in order to transfer actual research results
from numerical analysis and from Scientific Computing to marketing products.
For ISCA's clients this guarantees that modern techniques are used to solve their questions.
Special fields of the
research of Prof. Louis are inverse problems with applications to medical engineering,
nondestructive testing, parameter estimation as well as wavelets for the analysis of time - series.
In these fields Prof. Louis is author of text books and organizer of international conferences.
The staff of ISCA is mainly recruited from the university institute, hence they are acquinted with the
modern technology.
In the years 1997-2001 ISCA had an EU - Prgram Objective-2, supporting joint projects with SME's.
